JULY IS QUITE THE MONTH! THE BIG THEME THIS MONTH IS MATURING AND HEALING, AND GETTING CONNECTED TO OUR HEARTS! NOT TOO SHABBY FOR A SUMMER STORY AS WE EXPLORE MORE OF THE THEMES THAT BEGAN TO EMERGE AT THE END OF JUNE AND START TO LOOK AT THEMES THAT WILL CARRY US THROUGH THE END OF THE YEAR. July 2nd, 2024 - Neptune Retrograde in Pisces
On Jul 2nd, 2024, Neptune retrograde begins 29° Pisces and ends on December 7th, 2024 at 27° Pisces.
This is a time when we’ll be exploring past illusions or getting deeper into integrating the frequency we’ve been activating and downloading since Neptune went direct. This includes dreams, visions, vibrations. Especially because Pisces is the home sign of Neptune this is felt even more. This is a long transit too, Neptune takes years to go through a sign so at the final °s this is a culmination of processing what has occurred since around April 2011.
July 2nd, 2024 - Mercury enters Leo
On July 2nd, 2024 Mercury Enters Leo.
Mercury is bold and fiery in Leo! This is where we are not afraid to dramatically express ourselves. Just be mindful you don’t go so over the top you start really exaggerating things or getting SO passionate and proud you lose your head.
July 5th, 2024 - New Moon in Cancer
The New Moon in Cancer happens at 14° Cancer and is trine Saturn in Pisces, sextile Mars in Taurus, and square the North and South Node in Aries and Libra, respectively.
This moon might really have us in our feels and getting into touch with our inner nurturer, our inner mother/divine feminine, and our changing life cycles in general.
One thing people rarely talk about with Cancer is its connection to the passage of time and evolutionary cycles. This is the energy of metamorphosis.
Trine Saturn Rx there is an energy here of looking at what you’re currently structuring and building better as far as your dreams go, how you are nurturing your dreams. Sextile Mars there is a sense of action and movement in the Taurus area of your chart connecting to the phases you’re emotionally feeling through. And t-square the nodes we get a sense of possibly being torn in two directions and asked to proceed forward or take stock of how you’re honoring leaving and regarding the past while headed towards your future.
July 11th, 2024 - Venus enters Leo
On July 11th, 2024 Venus Enters Leo.
I LOVE a Venus in Leo! It’s one of my favorite placements. If Venus in Leo has no fans I’m dead. Here love is romantic, it’s bold, it’s full of adoration. This is prime time for connecting to your heart, your inner child, your creative life force energy and exploring what that playful path looks like.
July 20th, 2024 - Mars enters Gemini
On July 20th, 2024 Mars Enters Gemini.
Mars is a little chaotic in Gemini. If Mars is the knife, in Gemini it’s the knife juggler. So instead of resisting this strange pairing embrace it! If nothing else it will shake up the plot a bit and get you networking, socializing, chatting, and checking in with how you move in less organized ways that aren’t always bad. Sometimes we need a tiny bit of chaos!
July 21st, 2024 - Full Moon in Capricorn
This Full Moon in Capricorn happens at 29° Capricorn. This is the second Full Moon in Capricorn following the first in June and it is conjunct Pluto in Aquarius.
This full moon like the last will show us where we’re being asked to mature and grow up a little bit. Conjunct Pluto it will also show us where we are experiencing change and our New Paradigm identities.
Is this a full moon to pay attention to? YES absolutely. Be gentle with this one, especially if you have heavy cardinal placements. It could potentially bring up a lot in the way of processing the last 16 years since Pluto went into Capricorn in 2008.

July 25th, 2024 - Mercury enters Virgo
On July 25th, 2024 Mercury Enters Virgo.
Mercury LOVES being in its home sign of Virgo, I would actually argue maybe a little bit more than fellow mercurial Gemini even? Mercury is productive here. This is the time to break out the to do list, organize the launch, write the book that’s been swirling in your head. Mercury is tangible in Virgo. It’s methodical, analytical, and organized. So definitely take advantage of such clear thinking!
July 26th, 2024 - Chiron retrograde in Aries
Our good friend Chiron retrogrades in Aries from July 26th to December 29th at 23° to 19°.
Chiron wants to help us. He wants us to heal. But this is healing that looks like a pimple coming up to the surface to be popped. It’s tender, it’s not always the most comfortable. The nice thing about retrograde is its more internal. It’s an integration of the healing that has happened on a more external level and the events that may have led to that.
In Aries we are continuing to explore our healthy sense of identity and self. What is yours? What is me? What is mine? These are the questions to ask. Chiron is healing us to be our most authentic selves.
