WELCOME TO DECEMBER! WELL, THIS IS QUITE THE MONTH IF I’M BEING HONEST. WHAT AN INTERESTING WAY TO CLOSE OUT 2024. HERE’S WHAT I’LL SAY–DECEMBER WILL ASK US TO DO THINGS DIFFERENTLY, TO TURN OUR DECISIONS ON THEIR HEAD, TO FIGURE IT OUT IN MOMENTS WE’RE NOT SURE IF WE CAN. BUT IN A MUTABLE WAY, SO IT’S A LITTLE NONSENSICAL, IT’S VIBES MORE THAN ANYTHING, AND IT’S ASKING FOR CHANGE…OR MAYBE JUST FANNING THE WINDS OF CHANGE.
IF YOU FIND YOURSELF FRUSTRATED IN DECEMBER TBH JOIN THE CLUB. BUT THERE IS WISDOM IN THAT FRUSTRATION. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SLOW DOWN TO REWORK? HOW CAN YOU GET EVEN MORE CREATIVE? WHAT WAYS IS LIFE ASKING YOU TO EVOLVE AND GROW IN AN OUT OF THE BOX MANOR? I WOULD PAY ATTENTION TO WHO YOU HANG OUT WITH AND TALK TO THIS MONTH AS IT CAN EITHER BE DEBBY DOWNER CONVOS OR ONES OF “YOU KNOW WHAT? LET’S SEE THIS CHALLENGE AND FIGURE IT OUT.” I SAID THIS ON A PODCAST I WAS RECENTLY A NEW REGULAR GUEST ON (DIARY OF A WEALTHY WOMAN! I’LL BE DOING NEW MONTHLY ASTRO WEALTH CODE FORECASTS IF YOU WANT TO TUNE IN)--YOU KNOW THOSE MOST ICONIC MOMENTS IN FILMS? LIKE THE GOPHER IN CADDYSHACK, THE HOUSE IN HOME ALONE, THE HUMOR MEETS HEART SCRIPT IN PRETTY WOMAN? ALL OF THOSE WEREN’T PLAN A, THEY WEREN’T EVEN PLAN B-F THEY WERE LIKE PLAN J OR M. AND YET THEY’RE WHAT WE REMEMBER THE MOST.
MAYBE A “SNAFU” IS ACTUALLY WHAT CAUSES YOU TO CHOOSE A DIFFERENT CHOICE THAT LAUNCHES YOU INTO THAT ICONIC STRATOSPHERE TOO?

“HOW IS THE DETOUR THE DESTINATION?”
HERE ARE SOME OF THIS MONTH’S MAJOR TRANSITS + THEMES TO KNOW:
December 1st, 2024 – New Moon In Sagittarius
On December 1st, 2024, we have a New Moon at 9° Sagittarius. The New Moon is square Saturn in Pisces and trine Mars in Leo.
There is an energy of get up and go to this moon but to where? We’re not entirely sure. Sagittarius has this wonderful optimism to it being ruled by Jupiter. It wants to adventure and explore new horizons. So during this time we may feel especially inspired and also motivated because Mars in Leo is making a trine saying YES let’s do it NOW!
But then there’s also Saturn (womp, womp) putting a bit of a damper on the situation. Saturn is saying yes dream, imagine, but make it tangible, make it real. Saturn is slowing down Sagittarius’ speed a bit. Like getting ready for a trip and picking out your favorite outfits is easy, organizing a new passport and making sure you get the right visa and maybe vaccinations, not so much.
So here Saturn is that parental figure saying did you get the right credit card for travel? That will matter later. Did you check the weather? That will matter later. Didn’t get to the airport gate on time? Sorry you’ll have to wait a few hours for the next flight.
My advice for navigating this is focus on the bigger picture, allow that inspiration to fuel and inspire you and then just surrender to Saturn’s timing. Epic adventures need a little structure. But it’s for sure coming.
December 7th, 2024 – Mars Goes Retrograde In Leo
On December 7th, 2024, Mars goes retrograde at 6° Leo.
Mars goes retrograde only every 26 months so this is a bit more rare. Now, don’t tear out your hair hearing this and think back to Mars Rx in Gemini chaos from 2022-2023. It won’t be like that (THANK GOD!) because Mars really likes to embody the sign it moves through as that’s what it’s doing-it’s moving.
So if Mars is the knife and Mars in Gemini was a crazy knife juggler and Rx was the knife juggler ALSO walking backwards, Mars in Leo is more like someone theatrically demonstrating knife fighting like a display. Think sword fights a la The Three Musketeers. Retrograde this would be something holding up the show backstage, a little bit of stage fright or self doubt, maybe the lead gets a cold and the understudy goes on. You get the drift.
So the translation for us here is an inner deep diving into our creativity. Maybe revisiting an old project or favorite fun pastime, making over our “set design,” reinstilling inner worthiness so the stage fright isn’t so bad. If we’re the lead, taking time for ourselves versus forcing a show.
How do you nurture your inner creative? Your inner child who wants to play for the sake of play not just applause? How do you move behind the scenes just as well as in front? What do you want to revisit or go back to?
December 7th, 2024 – Venus Enters Aquarius
On December 7th, 2024, Venus enters Aquarius.
Venus entering Aquarius also immediately conjuncts Pluto newly in Aquarius. Here we are asked to go DEEP and evolve, grow, change. However in the Aquarian way of NEW CHOICE!
To me this is New Paradigm Relationships to a tee (in fact I might just be working on a secret project this very day around these themes-wink!). My favorite example of this energy is Taylor Swift. After so many old paradigm-esque relationships with Pluto in Capricorn when Pluto entered Aquarius and crossed over Taylor’s natal Venus in Aquarius she got Travis Kelce.
So who or what is your Travis Kelce? How do you embrace that change?
December 8th, 2024 – Neptune Goes Direct
On December 8th, 2024, Neptune goes direct at 27° Pisces.
I am a stan for Neptune. There I said it! Other astrologers will argue with me but I think Neptune is beautiful (it may be my Pisces Stellium and Midheaven vibing with it). Neptune is frequency. And in Pisces dream frequency. So what frequency are you vibing on? What dream do you hope comes true? Neptune asks us to tap into and imagine that which our logical brains just can’t quite comprehend.
For instance there is a reason my Soul Tone Frequencies are the most powerful thing I create in my business. Because it bypasses all of the conscious and goes direct to that subconscious DNA frequency place. I often get clients saying I’m not sure what it is or what it’s doing but I feel so much and SO GOOD after listening. That’s the power of Neptune, we don’t really have to know we just get to feel.
December 15th, 2024 – Full Moon In Gemini
On December 15th, 2024, we have a Full Moon at 23° Gemini. The Full Moon is square Neptune in Pisces. Mercury, who is the ruler of the Full Moon, is in Sagittarius, also about to turn direct.
Kerfuffle. That’s my name for this moon. It’s nonsensical, it’s not the full picture, and you should take it with a grain of salt. The planets are kerfuffle-ing. And more will be revealed in due time. It feels kind of topsy turvy, confusing, Dr. Seuss like. Like I’m sorry what? What did you say?
Maybe don’t try to have super serious conversations around this. Although it’s a great time for reevaluating things and just laughing off any miscommunication as exactly that.
December 16th, 2024 – Mercury Goes Direct
On December 16th, 2024, Mercury goes direct at 6° Sagittarius.
Let’s celebrate! This poor little Mercury has been square Saturn and Neptune in Pisces and opposite Jupiter in Gemini. Not Sagittarius’ favorite place to be as a hilarious yet wise truth seeker and teller.
Direct Mercury will pass over these points again, but at least any confusion or fuzziness will be cleared up.
December 21st, 2024 – Sun Enters Capricorn
On December 21st, 2024, the Sun enters Capricorn. Happy birthday to all the GOATs!
December 24th, 2024 – Jupiter Square Saturn
On December 24th, 2024, we have the 2nd Jupiter-Saturn square at 14° Gemini and Pisces.
This first one happened in August (during the Democratic National Convention in the United States no less). Think back to that time. What necessity is the mother of invention moment did you have? What new creative out of the box moments were birthed from that? How did surrendering to that newness and flow help you?
Those are the same questions we are asking ourselves here.

December 30th, 2024 – New Moon In Capricorn
On December 30th, 2024, we have a New Moon at 9° Capricorn.
Funnily enough this is actually the best transit of the month-Capricorns, Cancers, and really all Cardinal Signs (Aries, Libra) REJOICE! It’s the first New Moon in Capricorn of the uninterrupted Pluto in Aquarius era. This moon is pretty unaspected for ONCE in oh I don’t know 16 years?! Again, rejoice! It’s in a wide sextile to its ruler Saturn in Pisces but that’s it, and sextiles are positive anyways. It asks how do we make this happen?
I love this moon so much I could kiss it! It’s a great way to end the year after a lil bit of a WTF month, and yet again a little wink and nod to the Cardinal signs to say hey, that dedication and 16 years of
alchemy school paid off. Look at you now! And Happy New Year!
December 30th, 2024 – Chiron Goes Direct
On December 30th, 2024, Chiron goes direct at 19° Aries.
Our good friend Chiron goes direct. What are we further healing? What does our heart want? What does it ache for we are bold enough to move with in this next phase?
What desire is worth healing for? And how can you be curious about that?
Enjoy December! Seriously think about it like a Dr. Seuss book if it helps, especially if you have a lot of mutable energy (Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius) in your chart. It’s just kind of topsy turvy so let’s go with that and the change it brings rather than fighting it.
