October Astrology Forecast 2021
WELCOME TO OCTOBER, BEAUTIFUL SOUL! A MONTH THAT ENCOURAGES US TO FINALLYYY, AFTER ALL THE TIME AND ENERGY WE’VE PUT INTO IT, HEAL ONCE AND “FOR ALL,” MANIFEST, AND HEAL SOME MORE (IN VERY EXPANSIVE AND LIBERATING WAYS!)
I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FORWARD TO OCTOBER ALL YEAR. THIS IS A TRULY GROUNDBREAKING MONTH WHERE OUR NEW PARADIGM INDENTITIES START TO TAKE FORM AND SHAPE AND I THINK EVERY SINGLE PERSON WILL FEEL THE BLESSINGS THAT COME FROM IT--EVEN IF YOU DON’T SEE IT RIGHT AWAY.

OCTOBER 1ST-OCTOBER 3RD, 2021 – SUN AND MARS OPPOSITE CHIRON
From October 1st to October 3rd, 2021 Sun and Mars in Libra oppose Chiron (at 10° Aries).
This is an incredibly healing time for the masculine and feminine collectives and each individual expression of those energies within us--but with a particular focus on introducing a healthy and balanced masculine between inner child “boy energy” and the empowered “man.” No matter your gender expression or identity we will each feel this yin/yang balance in the part of our charts where Libra and Aries are, most notably if you have personal planets or aspects here. Anywhere that you feel “hurting” try looking for the root and pattern and how you can help yourself move through it. This is also an incredible time to allow yourself to take “action” in surrendering to more vulnerability.
OCTOBER 6TH, 2021 – NEW MOON IN LIBRA
On October 6th, the New Moon is at 13° Libra.
This New Moon is not only at 13 degrees Libra (the number of the Divine Feminine, occult, life cycles) it is a quadruple (!!!) 13 code with the Sun, Moon, and Mars at 13 degrees in Venusian Libra and Uranus quincuxing this in Venusian Taurus. With this “fun challenge” quincux energy liberation of the Divine Feminine abounds and is supported by the Masculine with Mars the masculine planet of action, drive, and passion in the mix. At the same time Venus trines Neptune increasing the divine love energy we feel on our spiritual path. A potent time for manifesting wherever this energy falls in your chart with both our active and passive receptors turned on.
OCTOBER 6TH, 2021 – PLUTO GOES DIRECT
On October 6th, 2021, Pluto goes direct at 24 degrees Capricorn.
(People in your late 20s pay attention to this because it directly impacts you). Pluto going direct is a big deal because many millennials will be leaving behind an undoing of Uranus and Neptune programming after years of detangling it and going through difficult trials to do so (due to how slowly these planets move). Take a deep breath here--you did it. Pluto going direct can help restore power and bring awareness to where we can have transformation externally now that we’ve done the internal work. Also now the US’s Pluto return is right around the corner (for those in the states) and that inner power you’ve harvested will become even more important to transmute any external oppression.
OCTOBER 7TH, 2021 – VENUS ENTERS SAGITTARIUS
On October 7th, 2021 Venus leaves Scorpio and enters Sagittarius. Sag brings a lightness to Venus and the way we move through things like love, money, and beauty. Again, we are getting a strong dose of liberation energy and broadening our horizons. Venus in Scorpio might have been intense to navigate during a Libra Mercury retrograde but Sag asks us to take those lessons, remember but let go and have some fun in the big wide world. Maybe an aligned travel opportunity is afoot?
OCTOBER 9TH, 2021 – SUN CONJUNCT MERCURY CONJUNCT MARS
On October 9th, the Sun is conjunct Mercury and Mars at 16° Libra, so we have a triple Sun-Mercury-Mars conjunction. This is a very important alignment that not only marks the beginning of the upcoming 116 day Mercury-Sun cycle and 2-year Sun-Mars cycle, but the beginning of a special alignment between the Sun, Mercury, and Mars.
These energies compounded help us move from just dreaming and being inspired internally to moving things into being. Again, a very potent day for manifesting and taking aligned action as our thoughts (Mercury) align with our actions (Mars) and this life’s identity expression (Sun).
OCTOBER 10TH, 2021 – SATURN GOES DIRECT
On October 10th, 2021 Saturn goes direct at 6° Aquarius. Now that we’ve become crystal clear about what’s not working and hopefully cleared it out, it’s time to make room for what does and welcome in the new. Look to where Saturn is transiting in your own chart to see how best to take advantage of this. We’re going to feel like we’re being “unstuck.”
OCTOBER 18TH, 2021 – JUPITER GOES DIRECT
On October 18th, 2021 Jupiter goes direct at 22° Aquarius. Jupiter will be spending a few more months in Aquarius, before moving into Pisces (also releasing us from the Jupiter-Saturn restriction we’ve been in for a few years now, but a topic for another day). This is your last chance this go around to expand into all the areas Jupiter is creating space for in your specific chart.
OCTOBER 18TH, 2021 – MERCURY GOES DIRECT
Everyone’s “favorite” Mercury goes direct on October 18th, at 10° Libra! Mercury and Jupiter are intimately connected as they both rule our thinking (Merc) and beliefs (Jupiter). So pretty cool we get a double whammy directness on the same day. Yes, clarity and answers!
OCTOBER 20TH, 2021 – FULL MOON IN ARIES
October 20th we will have a Full Moon at 27° Aries. The Full Moon in Aries is opposite Mars and square Pluto, so it’s an explosive one for sure and very cardinal energy focused. Whatever has been brewing since the Aries new moon in March and more recently Libra New Moon at the top of the month will come to a head. A POWERFUL time for sure.
OCTOBER 23TH, 2021 – SUN ENTERS SCORPIO
Happy birthday Scorpio!
This Scorpio season we are in for a ride of deep transformation and cycles ending and beginning on collective and personal levels. The Sun in Scorpio helps us shed layers like a snake and get serious about what we actually want to invest in in life and how to receive and exchange with others. Expect a surge in this season empowering you in places you didn’t expect. Anddd some magic of course!
OCTOBER 30TH, 2021 – MARS IS SCORPIO

On October 30th, Mars enters its domicile sign, Scorpio. Scorpio is traditionally ruled by Mars and let me just say for the record as someone with her 5th house in Scorpio who is an extra big fan of this energy Mars in Scorpio is hot, hot, hot, sexy, hot. Mars is the planet of action and Scorpio’s intensity only deepens this...setting us up for a truly life changing and paradigm shifting November.
