May Astrology Forecast 2022
WELCOME TO MAY, BEAUTIFUL SOUL!
MAY IS A PRETTY INCREDIBLE MONTH–HOLD ONTO YOUR HATS FOR THIS ONE HONESTLY! SO YOU KNOW HOW WE HAD SOOO MUCH DREAMY ENERGY IN MARCH/APRIL? MAY IS HERE TO MATCH THAT WITH ACTION, ACTION, PASSION, ACTION…AND MORE ACTION. WE CAN’T STAND STAGNANT ANYMORE. FOR MANY OF US WE KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IT IS WE WANT/NEED TO DO BUT IT HASN’T FELT ALIGNED TO PULL THE TRIGGER. NOW IT DOES! AND EVEN IF THERE IS STILL CONFUSION, OR A LITTLE DELAY BECAUSE OF MERCURY RETROGRADE OUR NEXT CHAPTER AND NEW BEGINNINGS ARE BECOMING MUCH MORE CLEAR AND DECISIVE. THERE ARE NO WRONG ANSWERS OR MOVES EITHER BTW. SO JUST GO FOR IT AND TRUST YOU’RE EXACTLY WHERE YOU’RE MEANT TO BE RIGHT NOW. THE UNIVERSE MOVES WHEN YOU MOVE.

MAY 2ND, 2022 – VENUS ENTERS ARIES
Venus enters Aries on May 2nd, 2022. This is an important shift for Venus because of the rare Jupiter-Neptune-Venus conjunction we just had the week prior. After being shown our widest dreams (a sneak peek if you will!) Venus in Aries comes in to start making it reality. Venus here is more impulsive and reactive than dreamy Pisces so things could quickly get more steamy as we boldly go after what we want!
MAY 3RD, 2022 – JUPITER SEXTILE PLUTO
On May 3rd, Jupiter (at 28° Pisces) is sexile Pluto (at 28° Capricorn).
At first glance this may seem like an odd pairing but I actually LOVE this for how we’re kicking off May! Sextiles are flirty aspects that aren’t quite a trine but between complementary element signs. Expansive dreamy Jupiter in Pisces is being supported by transformative Pluto. This is again where dreams actually start to become reality but first we might have a stripping away of a less than dreamy layer.
MAY 10TH, 2022 – MERCURY GOES RETROGRADE
On May 10th, 2022 Mercury Goes Retrograde at 4° Gemini.
In Gemini this is a classic Merc Rx as Gemini is ruled by Mercury. Beyond backing up documents, leaving extra time for travel, and being mindful in communication, this is also a juicy time for all the RE’s: rewrite, rewind, redo, renew, relax, rejuvenate, reevaluate, remind, etc…no need to panic, just go with the backwards flow and all will be alright.
With the other astrology happening I see this specific Mercury Retrograde as a powerful time for revisiting old projects and sprucing them up, renewing your faith in something you’d given up on, and revisioning your short term goals and manifestations.
MAY 11TH, 2022 – JUPITER ENTERS ARIES
On May 11th, 2022 Jupiter enters Aries. This is one of the most important transits of the year as Jupiter changes signs about every 12 months. During this period a whole new area of your life is expanded for a few months until Jupiter goes back into Pisces in October. Look to where Jupiter in fiery jump starting, take no prisoners Aries is blazing through your personal natal chart to see best how to work with this energy.
MAY 13TH, 2022 – SUN CONJUNCT NORTH NODE IN TAURUS
On May 13th, 2022 the Sun is conjunct the North Node at 22° Taurus.
This is a “compass” day we have every year to see how we’re doing on both an individual and collective path. Are things going in the direction you want them to? This is a good day to pay attention to what organically comes up.
MAY 15TH, 2022 – VENUS CONJUNCT CHIRON IN ARIES
On May 15th, 2022 Venus is conjunct Chiron at 14° Aries.
What healing is there for you to do when taking action on what you want in love, values, and money? Where do you hold yourself back from what you REALLY want, know you deserve, and DESIRE?
This is an incredibly healing day for paying attention to where you’re neglecting what YOU want and specifically taking action on that not just dreaming/thinking of it.
MAY 16TH, 2022 – FULL MOON AND LUNAR ECLIPSE IN SCORPIO
On May 16th, 2022 we have a Full Moon and a Total Lunar Eclipse at 25° Scorpio.
Another HUGE eclipse. This is the most powerful kind of eclipse–a total eclipse. AND a South Node eclipse on a Full Moon meaning we are RELEASING and clearing past karma.
The Total Lunar Eclipse squares Saturn, trines Neptune and Jupiter, sextiles Pluto, and it’s 10 degrees away from an opposition to Uranus. Translation: because it’s interacting with the slow moving, outer planets this is a COLLECTIVE shift versus simply individual.
As always, eclipses are about fate and divine intervention so you don’t need to DO anything (and there’s NO need to fear it by any means!) but this may be one you would like to carve out some space to process emotionally if you’re prone to absorbing the collective feels.
MAY 18TH, 2022 – MARS CONJUNCT NEPTUNE IN PISCES
On May 18th, 2022 Mars is conjunct Neptune at 24° Pisces.
You may feel a sudden rush of divine guidance in the form of dreams, activations, or moments of divine intervention! Even if they’re subtle pay attention to these powerful messages, visions, and meetings.
MAY 21ST, 2022 – SUN ENTERS GEMINI, SUN CONJUNCT MERCURY
On May 21st, 2022 Sun Enters Gemini–happy Birthday Gems!
After the Sun ingresses into Gemini, it conjuncts Mercury.
Sun-Mercury conjunctions (when Mercury is retrograde) mark the beginning of a new Mercury cycle. This particular Mercury cycle happens at 0° Gemini. This is VERY cool energy!
Gemini is ruled by Mercury and the 0 degrees is a potent portal of new beginnings and possibility in the space of the void. Time to think like a Gemini for everyone! Beyond being amazing communicators and thinkers I also love Gems for their AMAZING magic!!! These folks are like fairies and can just grant all wishes with a flick of a wand. So this is an especially good time to tap into your own quick magic ways.
MAY 25TH, 2022 – MARS ENTERS ARIES
On May 25th, 2022 Mars Enters Aries. In Aries, Mars does what it LOVES it can take action without ANY excuses or pauses. This is PASSION, this is movement, this is a huge change from the Pisces energy we’ve been in.
If you’ve been feeling like things are moving too slowly for your likely here’s Mars to turboboost it all, time for action!
MAY 28TH, 2022 – VENUS ENTERS TAURUS
On May 28th, 2022 Venus enters Taurus. Venus is SO HAPPY in it’s domicile (home sign) Taurus. Here Venus can really thrive in all it’s Venusian glory. Beyond this highlighting an extra Venus-fueled time of aligned money/finances, food, material possessions and more physical pleasures, with Mars in Aries also at home this is an ideal time for relationships.
After months of getting clear on our dreams and learning not to settle, we're getting a nudge from the universe to put it into practice–especially in romantic relationships.
MAY 29TH, 2022 – MARS CONJUNCT JUPITER IN ARIES
On May 29th, 2022 Mars is conjunct Jupiter at 3° Aries. This is BOLD ACTION TAKING time!!! Again, we have themes of no more hesitating. Things are moving quickly, will you choose to move with them? Spoiler: you may feel actual anger or frustration in your body if you don’t. Don’t say I didn’t warn ya!
MAY 30TH, 2022 – NEW MOON IN GEMINI
On May 30th, 2022 we have a New Moon at 9° Gemini. The New Moon has a wide sextile to the Mars-Jupiter conjunction in Aries, while the New Moon ruler, Mercury - now ready to turn direct - is trine Pluto and square Saturn.
This is the last moment for reflection before Mercury turns direct. We’ve been in an energy of “almost, not quite” or as some of my clients have described it “I know that’s coming in 2 years but what do I do now?” This moon may bring up more around that and maybe even feel a little confusing as we continue to align our heaven (divine nature/soul path) AND earth (humanity/life path this go around). Confusion may be frustrating especially with so much action taking energy taking place but just know it’s ALL working out and things will be made more clear for the NOW soon. Keep being present.
